Heuft Family |Ypsilanti Family Photographer

Let me stop for a second to tell you that I am seriously the luckiest photographer in the world. My clients are always so amazing to work with. That's true of my session with the Heuft family, too!

I met up with them back in March at a studio I rented in Downtown Ypsilanti and although the weather was amazing, we shot indoors. I love shooting outdoors, but this family made renting the studio worth it!

The Heuft family consists of Brad, Michelle, Ava and Mia. Michelle mentions that "Ava is athletic and shy, yet shines in her performances. Mia has a short temper, but then is very sweet. She is like a sour patch kid!"

Jesse 8 days fresh | Melvindale Newborn Photographer

I am super excited to introduce to you my wonderful cousin's son Jesse. At the time of his session in January he was 8 days fresh!

I think we can all agree that Jesse is just the cutest and I'm practically melting from the cuteness overload!

As you can see from the pictures, Jesse and I had one awesome session together. He slept all the way through the session and this allowed me to photograph new props and even try new poses with him.

Because the session went so well, I asked Vanessa if she would share one helpful piece of advice with other mothers planning a newborn session. Her biggest piece of advice is: “there's not much you can do but try and get the baby to Sleep before hand. But if he's not tired he's not tired and there's not much you can do about it. But most newborns aren't my son so lucky for you they'll Probably fall asleep quickly I would guess. Also have everything ready that you think might need to be ready. ”

Cooper is 1 | South Lyon Child Photographer

It's hard to believe that this was my 3rdtime photographing the very photogenic and handsome Cooper. I still remember just how tiny he was when I photographed him during his 2 month session back in August.

I honestly cannot put into words just how much I looked forward to photographing Cooper over the last year. Every session, he had changed so much, and the same is true now that he is a whole 12-months old! Mom says Cooper hates anything food related, which can explain why we didn't have too much fun during our cake smash portion of the session.

"We wanted to coordinate what we were wearing to him, which is why we wore what we did", says Courtney Cooper's mom. She also spent a lot of time handcrafting some beautiful props for our session. Not to mention I love when parents also involve some personal items like the Harley Davidson portion of the session.

However, that is enough talking for now. Lets take a look at the super handsome Cooper and enjoy the fun we had at our session; cake and all ;)

Reasons to have a Fresh 48 Session | Michigan Newborn Photographer

Fresh 48 sessions are sessions done within the first 48 hours of your baby's birth and done as lifestyle sessions. These sessions are very near and dear to me as I know first hand how quickly babies change. I remember when I was pregnant with both of my children, especially my first I had no clue what was going to happen. I didn't know how long I would be in labor, how long I would have to stay afterward. In fact, I had no idea what I was doing or what I was going to do after giving birth. What I quickly learned is I would be spending 24-48 hours in the hospital AFTER birth with nothing to do.

What I did know is that I wanted pictures of my baby and even as a photographer, it was very difficult to get those photos in the hospital. I was still very sore and had a hard time moving around or I couldn't move fast enough. I did know that the hospital had a contract with a company did that "hospital" photos, but they were so different than what I wanted. I wanted something natural and this wasn't something the company could do in the time they were allowed in my room.

After having my daughter I started to dabbling with newborn photography, but it really wasn't until my son was born in 2015 that I realized how much I loved newborns. After doing a few sessions in the last few years, I knew it was time to do them full time!

So, why should you have a Fresh 48 sessions?

1. Session is much shorter

Fresh 48 sessions are much shorter than your full on newborn sessions. Newborn sessions last anywhere from 2-4 hours depending on how baby and mom are feeling. With Fresh 48 sessions, I will be in and out of your hospital room within 45-60 minutes. This gives me enough time to photograph and capture all the cuteness of your new baby.

2. Pause of time

Life during pregnancy and labor will go quickly, but there is no need to let these precious moments go. This is the time you will want to remember, so having a fresh 48 sessions will allow me to pause the time so that you can look back on them and remember exactly what it was like when baby first joined you.

3. Type of session

Although you have the option to do a lifestyle newborn session, there is so much more you get with a fresh 48 session. The most important is that all fresh 48 sessions are unique and this is the time you will not want to forget. This is the time you will never be able to recreate as time passes so quickly within the first 48 hours.

4. Capture the firsts

A fresh 48 session allows me as your photographer to capture those first moments. The first sneeze, the first yawn, the first smile. You do not want to miss those first as they will never be the same.

5. Changes

I hate to be the one to tell you, but baby is going to grow and change fast. When I say fast, I really mean it. In fact, baby's change before leaving the hospital most time and definitely before you get to your newborn session.

All Fresh 48 sessions are pre-scheduled according to your due date. If you are interested to capturing these special moment, please contact me to book your session.

INTRODUCING FRESH 48 SESSIONS

I am super excited to finally make it official and to offer Fresh 48 sessions. I know what your thinking; what the heck is a fresh 48 session? Fresh 48 sessions is a sessions done within the first 48 hours of your baby's birth. This session is done as a lifestyle session, which means no props and all natural light. I will come to your place of birth (home, birth center or hospital) and we will spend about an hour together capturing your very first moments with your newest addition.

These sessions simply are meant to document you, your family and baby as they are in the first moments of baby's life. These sessions are great for those who want to document the first moments of life, but are not sure about having me there to document the entire birth.

All Fresh 48 sessions are pre-scheduled according to your due date. Once baby arrives, please contact me and we will schedule your session. I like to do these sessions as early as possible in the day as the lighting is beautiful coming through the windows in the morning. However, if this is not possible we just need to make sure the session takes place within daylight hours.

The current cost of Fresh 48 sessions are $500 and this includes:

2016 | Southeastern Michigan Photographer

2016, what a year for Tiffany Ringrose Photography. Actually, 2016 was the best year that I have had as a professional photographer. I have always hoped to get where I did in 2016 and it finally arrived! I am so happy with how 2016 ended for Tiffany Ringrose Photography + I am looking forward to where 2017 leads me.

Again, thank you so much for an amazing 2016 and I am looking forward to working with my existing clients + meeting all of my new clients!

Ben + Heather | Michigan Engagement Photographer

I recently photographed Ben + Heather in the lovely Detroit and Berkeley. These two are getting married on June 3, 2017.

Ben + Heather met through work. Heather was doing an inspection at his work and once he saw her, he knew he had to ask her to get coffee sometime. Knowing both Heather + Ben, this was something I did not know about them. I thought that was a super cute way to a women’s heart. Want to know what is even more awesome, Ben hid the ring in a roll of toilet paper. Ben has such an awesome sense of humor and that is what Heather said landed her.

I am super excited for Ben + Heather as they are getting married at the beautiful C Castle Farms in Charlevoix. Not only are they getting married here, they also get the castle for their reception. As a couple they have decided to use BJ’s catering Company for all food related to that night and they have hired one of Ben’s friends as the DJ.

Let’s put all of their wedding details aside and take a look at Ben + Heather’s super adorable engagement session. I am not going to lie, I had so much fun with the both of them during both of their sessions!

Grondin 6 month session | Novi Photographer

At the end of June, I was honored to photograph the super adorable Agustin for his 6 month milestone session.

Although this was my very first session with Mr. Handsome, he has started standing on his own and crawling all over in just a month! Can you believe how fast they grow in such a quick time?

Mom says, "we were going to an outdoorsy feel for his session" and I feel that we captured that 100%. Gus loved being outdoors and we were able to capture the natural him as he smiled and played the entire session.
