Addisyn Taylor is here! | Michigan Fresh 48 Photographer

Welcome back to the blog, dear readers! Today I’m sharing a preview of the Fresh 48 session I recently had with Baby Addisyn, who was welcomed into this big world on September 22, 2017 to Enedelia Chubb & Chris Bochenek. As you can imagine, Mom and Dad are equal parts exhausted and delirious with their sweet baby girl, and I feel so lucky to have been given the chance to be apart of their parenthood journey.

Mom mentioned, " Tiffany did an amazing job. She cared for and soothed our little Addisyn during her session which made us more comfortable. She is a baby whisperer ! After seeing our final images, I am more than pleased! She captured her innocence and tiny features so perfectly. Couldn't have asked for a better (newborn) photographer. "

Her main piece of advice to expecting parents and ones who might be on the fence about scheduling a Fresh 48 session is " Invest in them! These moments will be cherished forever. They change so much and so fast. I wish I did this for all my children!" I couldn't agree more as I wish I had done them with both of my children.

Taulbee Family | Farmington Hills Family Photographer

I just adore the family I'm blogging about today. I'm lucky enough to say I've been photographing the Taulbee family for almost 2 years now! I truly can't believe how much the kids have grown and changed since I first met them (and they have a new addition!).

12968171_844696412302434_1545243403565862397_o.jpg

Mom loves her children very much and spent some time telling me about how each of them have grown. She says"Aiden likes to be in charge and rallies all of us up. He has us put our hands in together and we all yell "Team Taulbee!" He's a ham. Cora is very shy, but is so sweet and silly. She loves her baby dolls and loves to dote on her baby brother. The maternal instinct is strong in this one. Evan is my goofball. He thrives on making us laugh by making cheeseball faces, scrunching up his nose and showing his chompers".

And, it goes without saying, Jaime and I have become my friends over the time we've worked together. It's hard to not become friends with someone like Jaime, who is just super sweet about everything. We may not chat often, but when we do it is always a great chat!

When Jaime contacted me to take their photos again, I was ready to get them all booked in. However, due to the nature of Michigan Weather we did have a reschedule a few times! (as it seems like it always happen)

And as for the day of the shoot, I had a lot of fun with the kids! They had a pretty great time, too.

Meredith Elaine's Birth Story | Michigan Birth Photographer

You’re in for a major treat tonight, as I’m sharing images from my recent birthing session with the Briggs family, who welcomed Ms. Meredith Elaine into the world almost 6 months ago.

Our session took place at St Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, and I with this being my very first birth, I feel like I was able to capture these moments just how mom wanted me too!

Mom had planned for an all natural birth, but she did mention "Don’t have a plan there is is never a plan". I am not going to lie to you, she has a great point. Just because you have a plan doesn't mean it will go according to that plan. Megan (that's mom) had a wonderful plan, but after 36 long intense hours of labor; her plan was changed. In the end mom says, "I was relieved she was ok." After 36 hours and a C/Section, it is great to know your baby is totally okay.

Before her C/Section though, mom's water broke at home, thought I was just going to the bathroom. But nope! I remember getting the text at 6:30am that morning with her saying that her water broke and she was heading into the hospital soon. When she arrived, she was only dilated to a 1 and they decided to start induction. I mentioned to her that once she reached 4cm to give me a call and I would be on my way. We stayed in contact all day, but process was super slow for her. Around 10pm she told me she still wasn't progressing super fast, but at about 1045pm I got a text from her husband Jeff that she was 4cm.

I arrived to the hospital just about midnight. I was super excited because this was my first birth, the birth I had been wanting to shoot for 4 year. I could tell mom was tired and she was in pain. About 2-230am we finally got mom the epidural and she was able to sleep. As the next day arrived, everyone was tired and we still had no baby Meredith. We were hoping she would arrive sometime soon and just around 3pm the option of a C/Section was put on the table. At this point I knew mom was ready to have baby Meredith, but I also knew this is not the birth she wanted. As much as I understood that this was not what she wanted, I knew deep down this was the best option for mom and baby (not that it was up to me).

A short while later, Jeff and Megan made the decision to go ahead with the C/Section. Sad, I was unable to photograph the birth. However, I did give them the option of a Fresh 48 session or a home Newborn Session. At that time, they asked if they could talk about it once Meredith arrived as everything was happening at once. Of course, we were still all wanting to see this beautiful baby girl and they told me to go home and get some rest because baby Meredith would not arrive for another few hours (even when I told them I would stay to photograph them on the way down and to capture her once she got her).

Igna Family | Southeastern Michigan Family Photographer

Let me stop for a second to tell you that I am seriously the luckiest photographer in the world. My clients are always amazing to work with. That's true of my session with the Igna family, too!

I met up with them back in July at Heritage Park in Taylor and the weather was perfect for photo-taking. It was sunny, but not super hot/  While the weather was fine, it was the Igna family that made this shoot such a joy!

Igna-4.jpg

The Igna family consists of Mandi, Ryan and Brady. Brady just turned 3 and he is going to be a big brother later this year!

Mandi mentioned thatthis session was the "Most stress free session we have had. Not just for Brady but for mommy too!" I do agree with Mandi on this one. We let Brady lead the way, which made the stress on everyone disappear!

Take a look at some of the highlights from our session togther! I know your going to love them as much as we do<3

Baby Girl Lily Schwartz | Farmington Hills Newborn Photographer

Today I have a real treat for you and it comes in the form of a newborn baby girl named Lily. This princess is no longer a newborn (as I am a little behind on blogging her session), but I promise you she is doing so well as I was able to see her last weekend!

Schwatz-55.jpg

It feels like only a few days ago I was photographing Suzanne’s and Johnathan's older children and their family. I can't believe it's already been almost 2 years! Suzanne mentioned how she remembers her family session and capturing those memories in the rain. This was one of my favorite sessions and still remains one of my favorites to this day!

Because our last photo shoot went so wonderful, I was delighted when Suzanne told me she was pregnant with Lily. Since we are good friend, I was able to follow her pregnancy every step of the way.

Aww moment: Suzanne told me that as soon as they found out they were having Lily,
that their dream of having three children was coming true. She mentioned"I prayed this baby would be healthy. We were absolutely thrilled!"

I was beyond honored that they asked me to work with them again and to photograph little Lily. As you can see from the photographs below, she is an ultra sweetheart and was a joy to work with.

Mini Session Event | Southeastern Michigan Child Photographer

When I did my first themed mini session last year, I was super excited to plan the next one. First came Candy Stand Mini Sessions and then came my two full blown Holiday Mini set ups. I had such a blast with the Candy Stand Mini's and both of my Holiday Mini Session Events that I knew I wanted to do another event. The problem was I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted to do something different because we can all agree that there are so many lemonade stand mini's out there and I wanted something different. So, I started to look on pinerest for some ideas. That is when I seen ONE image that I fell in love with; that is when I knew what my next event would be.

Grayson 10 Days Fresh | Southgate Newborn Photographer

Today's post is all about a certain baby with perfect lips and hair that will surely put a huge smile on your face. Mr. Grayson was so much fun to photograph and our session turned out so perfect!

This particular session was a very special since Jamie and Andrew, Grayson's parents, included their first child Colton. Jamie told me "we had him cremated and we want to make sure that Grayson knows all about him. He may not be here with us, but he will always be Grayson's big brother. He will always be apart of us and we want him to grow up knowing that tomorrow isn't always promised and to live every day to the fullest".

Grayson is just so precious and I am so thankful that Jamie and Andrew are raising him to know his big brother.

Heuft Family |Ypsilanti Family Photographer

Let me stop for a second to tell you that I am seriously the luckiest photographer in the world. My clients are always so amazing to work with. That's true of my session with the Heuft family, too!

I met up with them back in March at a studio I rented in Downtown Ypsilanti and although the weather was amazing, we shot indoors. I love shooting outdoors, but this family made renting the studio worth it!

The Heuft family consists of Brad, Michelle, Ava and Mia. Michelle mentions that "Ava is athletic and shy, yet shines in her performances. Mia has a short temper, but then is very sweet. She is like a sour patch kid!"
